UEFI BIOS Codes
A.1 UEFI BIOS POST Codes
The AMI UEFI BIOS supplies additional checkpoint codes, which are documented online at
http://www.supermicro.com/support/manuals/ ("AMI UEFI BIOS POST Codes User's Guide").
When UEFI BIOS performs the Power On Self Test, it writes checkpoint codes to I/O port
0080h. If the computer cannot complete the boot process, a diagnostic card can be attached
to the computer to read I/O port 0080h (Supermicro p/n AOC-LPC80-20).
