3.2 Technical Support Procedures
Before contacting Technical Support, please follow the steps below. Note that as a motherboard
manufacturer, Supermicro sells motherboards through various channels, so it is best to rst
check with your distributor or reseller for troubleshooting services. They should know of any
possible problems with the specic system conguration that was sold to you.
1. Please review the "Troubleshooting Procedures" and "Frequently Asked Questions"
(FAQs) sections in this chapter, or see the FAQs on our website before contacting
Technical Support: http://www.supermicro.com/FAQ/index.php
2. BIOS upgrades can be downloaded from our website.
Note: Not all BIOS can be ashed depending on the modications to the boot block
code.
3. If you still cannot resolve the problem, include the following information when contacting
us for technical support:
Motherboard model and PCB revision number
BIOS release date/version (this can be seen on the initial display when your system rst
boots up)
System conguration
