5. Reinstall the drain plug and
gasket. Tighten the plug
securely with a wrench.
Oil filter wrench
(Part No. 09915-40620)
6. Turn the oil filter 3 counter-
clockwise with a Suzuki “cap
type” oil filter wrench or a
“strap type” filter wrench of the
proper size.
7. Wipe off the mounting surface
4 on the engine where the
new filter will be seated with a
clean rag.
8. Smear a little engine oil
around the rubber gasket 5 of
the new oil filter.
9. Screw on the new filter by
hand until the filter gasket con-
tacts the mounting surface
(small resistance will be felt).
