Calibration
SILICON
RECTIFIER
The
silicon
rectifier
converts
AC
to
DC
by
allow-
ing
current
to
pass
іп
one
direction
only
Check
the
silicon
rectifier
for
continuity.
Set
the
pocket
tester
to
the
“N
x
1"
scale
Contact
the
pocket
tester
plus
terminal
(+)
to
the
rectifier
AC
terminal
(~)
and
minus
terminal
(—)
to
plus
terminal
(+).
Reverse
the
test
connections.
If
first
step
shows
any
continuity
and
2nd
step
shows
no
continuity,
the
rectifier
is
sound
condition.

differentiate
the
two
terminals,
plus
(+)
and
minus
(-)
