DTC P0245 (P0243)/P0246 (P0243) TURBO PRESSURE SOLENOID VALVE CIRCUIT
RANGE/PERFORMANCE PROBLEM

Refer to DTC P0243 (P0243).
TROUBLESHOOTING
STEP ACTION YES NO
1 Was “ENGINE DIAG. FLOW TABLE” performed? Go to Step 2. Go to “ENGINE DIAG.
FLOW TABLE”.
2 Check Vacuum Circuit
Check vacuum circuit for leak and clogging.
Is it in good condition?
Go to Step 3. Repair or replace.
3 Check boost pressure regulator solenoid valve for
resistance referring to “BOOST PRESSURE
REGULATOR SOLENOID VALVE” in Section 6E3.
Is resistance as specified?
Substitute a known-
good ECM and
recheck. (See NOTE.)
Replace boost
pressure regulator
solenoid valve.
NOTE:
If DTC is checked using generic scan tool only and DTC P0243 (P0243) Diag. Flow Table is not performed
yet, go to the table before ECM replacement.
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1) Connect scan tool to DLC with ignition switch OFF.
2) Turn ON ignition switch and clear DTC, pending DTC and freeze flame data by using scan tool.
3) Run engine over 2500 rpm for 10 sec.
4) Check DTC and pending DTC by using scan tool.
