SPOKE INSPECTION
Check the tension of spokes to verify
the tightness of the spoke nipples. The
tension can be checked by hitting the
spokes with a small metal bar. If the
spoke nipple is loose, its sound will be
dull.
To tighten the spoke nipples properly,
tighten them equally to the specified
torque. Loosened and overtightened
spoke nipples may cause unequal ten-
sion of spokes and may result in distor-
tion of the wheel rim. Contact your
Suzuki dealer to perform this service.
