INSPECTION AFTER CLEANING
DESCRIPTION
After drying the motorcycle, apply
grease. To help extend your motorcy-
cle’s life, lubricate it according to the
“LUBRICATION POINTS” section.
Follow the procedures in the “INSPEC-
TION BEFORE RIDING” section to
check your motorcycle for any issues
that may have arisen during your last
ride.
WARNING
Operating the motorcycle with wet
brakes can be hazardous. Wet
brakes may not provide as much
stopping power as dry brakes. This
could lead to a crash.
Test your brakes after washing the
motorcycle, while riding at slow
speed, and in a safe location. If nec-
essary, apply the brakes several
times to let friction dry out the lin-
ings.
