4. Remove the axle nut 3.
5. Loosen the axle holder bolts

6. Loosen the axle holder bolts

7. Place an accessory service stand or
equivalent under the swingarm to
help stabilize the rear end. (V-
STROM 1050)
8. Carefully position a jack under the
exhaust pipe and raise it until the
front wheel is slightly off the ground.
NOTICE
Improper jacking may cause damage
to the fairing or oil filter.
Do not place the jack under the lower
part of the fairing or the oil filter
when jacking up the motorcycle.
