It is strictly prohibited to modify a
vehicle by installing parts that can
affect emissions control, except in
accordance with very specific U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency
and California Air Resources Board
regulations.
The frame of this motorcycle is made of
an aluminum alloy. Therefore, never
make any modifications such as drilling
or welding to the frame as it weakens
the frame significantly. This could result
in an unsafe vehicle operating condition
and subsequent crash. Suzuki will not
be responsible in any way for personal
injury or damage to the motorcycle
caused by frame modifications.
Bolt-on-accessories that do not modify
the frame in any way may be installed,
provided that you do not exceed the
loading limit described in this section.
WARNING
Modification to an aluminum alloy
frame, such as drilling or welding,
weakens the frame. This could result
in an unsafe operating condition and
may lead to a crash.
Never make any modifications to the
frame.
