Why is my SWI L505 Measuring Instruments output inaccurate?
    • T
      Troy ByrdJul 29, 2025
Inaccurate output from your SWI Measuring Instruments can stem from several causes: * A coating or build-up on the float and/or stem. If this is the case, remove the indicator and clean the stem and float to eliminate any contaminants. * Liquid not properly entering the vessel. Verify that liquid is indeed entering the tank or vessel; a closed valve or a clogged pipeline might be obstructing the liquid's flow. * The tank level being insufficient for the float to function correctly. Ensure the float is buoyant in the liquid and that the tank or vessel maintains an adequate liquid level.

What to do if the float of SWI L505 Measuring Instruments is not buoyant?
    • R
      Robin HillAug 12, 2025
If the float in your SWI Measuring Instruments lacks buoyancy, inspect it for ruptures, deformation, or any trapped liquid. If the float is filled with liquid or has collapsed, replace it. Do not attempt to repair the float.
