Inordertoavoidelectricalshock,reorotherdamagethatmightoccurinconnectionwithfaultyuse
andoperationoftheunit,itisimportanttoconsiderthefollowing:
•Thesystemmustbeinstalledaccordingtotheinstallationinstructions.
•Insulatemainssupplybeforeserviceorcleaningoftheheatrecoveryunit.
•Makesurethelterismountedinitsplacebeforerunningthesystem.
•Maintenancemustbeperformedaccordingtotheinstructions.
8.1Changingairlters
Indicatedas“ltertobechanged”inthecontrolpanel,1-2timesperyearorasnecessary
Thebagltercannotbecleanedandmustbechangedasnecessary.Newlterscanbeorderedfrom
Systemair.
Operationtimebetweenlterchangesmustbere-setafterlterchange,seeAlarmsettings,Alarmlimits,
ServicealarmintheControlpanel.
InitialpressuredropforTA-450toTA-3000isapprox.60Paand70PaforTA-4500.Thenalpressurefor
allsizesis200-220Pa.

Checkthefan(B)onceayear.

Eveniftherequiredmaintenance,suchaschangingofltersiscarriedout,dustandgreasemayslowly
buildupinsidethefan.Thiswillreducetheefciency.
Thefanmaybecleanedwithaclothorasoftbrush.Donotusewater.Whitespiritcanbeusedtoremove
accumulationswhichareotherwisedifculttoremove.Allowdryingproperlybeforeuse.
