8.3Cleaninglouversanddiffusers
Checkthelouversanddiffusersatleasttwiceayear,andcleanifnecessary.
Thesystemsuppliesfreshairtothebuildingviatheductsystemanddiffusers/louvers.Diffusersand
louversaremountedinceilings/walls.
Removediffusersandlouversandwashinhotsoapywaterasrequired.(Diffusers/louversmustbeput
backwiththeiroriginalsettingsandpositionsinordernottounbalancethesystem).
8.4Checkingthefreshairintake
Leavesandpollutioncouldpluguptheairintakegrilleandreducethecapacity.
Checktheairintakegrilleatleasttwiceayear,andcleanifnecessary.
8.5Checkingtheductsystem
Dustandgreasesettlementsmaybuildupintheductsystemevenifltersarechangedregularly.This
willreducetheefciencyoftheinstallation.Theductrunsshouldthereforebecleaned/changedwhen
necessary.
Steelductscanbecleanedbypullingabrushsoakedinhotsoapywaterthroughtheductviadiffuser/louver
openingsorspecialinspectionhatchesintheductsystem(iftted).
Note:
Inadditiontheroofcowlmustbecheckedonceayearandcleanedasnecessary.
8.6ChangingtheInternalBattery
Note:
ThisprocedurerequiresknowledgeofproperESDprotection;i.e.anearthedwristbandmustbeused!
Whenthealarm”InternalBattery”isactivatedandthebatteryLEDlightsupred,thebatteryforbackupof
programmemoryandreal-timeclockhasbecometooweak.Thebatteryisreplacedasdescribedbelow.
Abackupcapacitorsavesthememoryandkeepstheclockrunningforatleast10minutesafterthepower
supplyisremoved.Therefore,ifthebatteryreplacementtakeslessthan10minutes,therewillbenoneed
toreloadtheprogram,andtheclockwillcontinuetorunnormally.
ThereplacementbatterymustbeofthetypeCR2032.

Removethecoverbypressingdownthelocking
torquesattheedgeofthecoverusingasmall
screwdriver,andatthesametimepullingthe
edgesoutwards.
