■ Hold the lower body handle with your left hand
and turn the upper cover handle to the right with
your right hand until it opens.
■ Lift the cover.
■ Place the cover on the pot, aligning the rims.
Align the triangle on the cover with the one on the
lower body handle.
■ Turn the cover to the left until you hear it click.
This appliance cooks under pressure.
Improper use may result in a scalding injury.
Make certain unit is properly closed before
operating.
Closing
If you can’t close the cover:
■ Check the position of the lock. If it is not in the
forward position, hold the cover horizontally and
push the lock toward you.
