Status LED indicators
LED Meaning
red status LED
(transmit)
Glowing: your radio is transmitting
Flashing: your transmit timer is about to
expire, or
your radio is stunned
green status LED
(receive)
Glowing: you are receiving activity
(conventional mode) or your radio is
actively in a call (MPT trunked mode)
Flashing (conventional mode): you have
activated monitor
amber status LED
(scanning or
network)
Glowing: your radio is scanning a group of
channels for activity (conventional mode)
or network service is available (MPT
trunked mode)
Flashing: your radio has detected activity
on a channel, and has halted on this
channel (conventional mode)
flashing fast: there is no network service
available (MPT trunked mode)
