Talkgroup scrolling in trunked mode
The talkgroup scrolling list contains a list of user-selectable
talkgroups and scan groups. Scroll through the list until the
group you want is displayed.
The group is displayed in one of the following ways:
■ as the MPT1327 group number, for example .
■ the MPT 1343 group number, for example .
■ as a preset number (if the group is also assigned to a
preset), for example .
■ with the prefix SC, where SC indicates that the group is a
scan group. For example, .
You can now either subscribe to the group (talkgroups and
scan groups) or call the group (talkgroups only). See
"Making a talkgroup call" on page 38.
Scrolling in conventional mode
The scroll list in conventional mode contains a list of all
conventional channels and groups. Scroll through the list
until the number you want is displayed.
