Overview

The F70A and F70 series are advanced digital display fiber optic sensors designed for precise and reliable detection in various industrial applications. These sensors offer a combination of high accuracy, user-friendly operation, and robust performance, making them suitable for demanding environments.

Function Description

The F70A and F70 series sensors provide digital indication of sensing information, allowing for easy monitoring and adjustment. They are equipped with an LCD display, often with a backlight, for clear readability of received light levels and displacement indications. The sensors utilize an open collector output mode, supporting both NPN and PNP configurations, and are available with red, green, blue, or white LED light sources to suit different detection needs.

A key feature is the ability to display received light levels in a 4-digit number (0 to 1023) or as a displacement value relative to an activation level. This displacement mode shows the current received light level as a positive or negative deviation from the set activation level, which is taken as the reference (±0). This is particularly useful for applications requiring precise positioning or detection of small variations.

The F70 series, specifically, boasts unparalleled "high resolution" for highly accurate detection and a longer detecting distance, approximately 2-X that of conventional Takex models. This is achieved through a wide dynamic range and a built-in high-resolution electronic volume that frequently switches sensitivity ranges, each divided into 1024 levels. This ensures high resolution is maintained across a broad dynamic range.
