1. Low Cut:
1) Switch to " ": records sound as it is, generally used in a quiet
environment (e.g., anechoic room).
2) Switch to " ": filters out low-frequency environmental noise below
150Hz (e.g., traffic, air-conditioner, stage floor vibration), and effectively
reduces plosives for clearer sound.
2. Attenuation Pad:
1) Switch to "0dB": no attenuation.
2) Switch to "-10dB": attenuates sensitivity by 10dB for recording higher
sound pressure, usually used in areas with high SPL (e.g., instruments like
bass drum, trumpet in a symphony orchestra).
