Beginning work with the machine

Attention:
Always wear slip-resistant shoes and ap-
propriate working clothes when working
with this machine!
Attention:
Start familiarization with the machine by
making your first driving attempts in a free
area.
Insert the plug into the mains socket.
The display lights up.
Hold the power supply cord in your hand.
Ensure that the power supply cord cannot come into con
-
tact with the tool.
Hold the machine with both hands.
Push the safety switch and operate
the operating lever at the same time.
The tool is activated.
Notice:
Lifting the guide rod slightly moves the ma-
chine to the right, lowering the guide rod
slightly moves the machine to the left.
Notice:
The machine must only be transported
over stairs by two persons.
Switch off the machine.
Remove the plug from the mains socket.
Attention:
Lifting the machine can be dangerous un-
der any circumstances!
Stumbling may cause personal injuries or
machine damage.
To lift the machine, one person
should hold the shell handle while the
other takes the machine handle.
Release the operating lever.
Remove the plug from the mains socket.
Attention:
The machine must now be emptied and
cleaned. Switch off the machine (main
switch) and remove the plug from the
mains socket.
Stand behind the machine.
Pull the adjusting lever located on the
machine handle and tilt the guide bar
slowly upwards until it is completely
upright.
Release the adjusting lever to lock
the guide bar.
Notice:
Remove the product tank before tilting the
machine backward.
Tilt the machine backward until the
machine handle is resting on the
floor.
Unscrew the holding piece from the
pad holder.
Remove the pad.
Fasten the holding piece back into
place with the screws.
Be sure to make the screws very tight
as a protruding holding piece can
damage floors.
Slowly raise the machine back to the
upright position.
