Important information
Safety
Ensure that your domestic mains supply voltage
matches the voltage indicated on the identication
sticker located at the back of your set. Where the
mains plug, AC inlet or an appliance coupler is used
as disconnect device, it shall remain readily operable.
On certain models, the light indicator is located at the
side of the TV set. The absence of a light indication
at the front does not mean that the TV set is fully
disconnected from the mains. To disconnect the TV
set completely, the mains plug must be pulled out.
The TV set’s components are sensitive to heat. The
maximum ambient temperature
should not exceed
35º
Celsius. Do not cover the vents at the back or
sides of the TV set. Leave su󰀩cient space around it to
allow adequate ventilation. Install the appliance away
from any source of heat (replace, etc.) or appliances
creating strong magnetic or electric elds.
Moisture
in rooms where the set is installed should
not exceed
75%
humidity. Moving the set from a cold
place to a warm one can cause condensation on the
screen (and on some components inside the TV set).
Let the condensation evaporate before switching the
TV set on again.
The or
POWER/
button on the TV set or the
button on the remote control can be used to switch it
on and put it into standby mode. If you are
not going
to be watching the TV for a lengthy period of time
,
switch it o󰀨 completely by removing the plug from the
mains power socket.
During
thunderstorms
, we recommend that you
disconnect the TV set from the mains and aerial so
that it is not a󰀨ected by electrical or electromagnetic
surges that could damage it. For this reason, keep the
mains and aerial sockets
accessible so they can be
disconnected
, if necessary.
Unplug
the TV set immediately if you notice it giving
o󰀨 a
smell of burning
or
smoke
. You must never,
under any circumstances, open the TV set yourself,
as you run the risk of an
electric shock
in doing so.

Function Description

This television set is designed for domestic household use, offering a range of features for entertainment and connectivity. It provides access to digital TV channels, Smart TV applications, and various input sources for external devices. The device supports both wired and wireless network connections, enabling interactive services like HbbTV and access to online content. It also incorporates Bluetooth® technology for connecting audio devices, mice, or keyboards. The TV is equipped with a multi-function menu for easy navigation and configuration of settings, including picture and sound adjustments.

Usage Features

Safety and Installation: The TV requires a stable location and proper ventilation, with at least 10cm clearance around the device. It should not be exposed to dripping or splashing liquids, and objects like vases should not be placed on it. The maximum ambient temperature for operation is 35° Celsius. For optimal safety, the TV should be securely attached to the floor/wall if mounted, following the manufacturer's recommendations. Children should be educated about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the TV or its controls, and all cords and cables should be routed to prevent tripping hazards. In case of a burning smell or smoke, the TV must be unplugged immediately, and users should never attempt to open the appliance themselves due to the risk of electric shock. During thunderstorms, it is recommended to disconnect the TV from both mains and aerial to prevent damage from electrical surges.

Power and Standby: The TV can be switched on by pressing the or POWER/ button on the set or the button on the remote control. To put the TV into standby mode, press the button on the remote control. For complete power-off, the mains plug must be removed from the socket. Some models are designed with a relay switch, and a clicking sound during power on/off is normal. The Quick Start function allows faster TV turn-on from standby but increases standby power consumption.

Remote Control and Navigation: The TV comes with an exclusive remote control for navigating menus and configuring settings. Key buttons include navigation direction buttons (▲/▼/◄/►), an OK button for confirming selections, and +/- for volume control. Dedicated buttons for NETFLIX, prime video, Guard, Media, YouTube, and TCL CHANNEL provide quick access to these applications. An additional remote control with numeric buttons, color buttons for HbbTV functions, and playback controls is also available. The multi-function menu on the TV set itself can be accessed by pressing the button, allowing basic control if the remote is unavailable.

Initial Setup: Upon first power-on, a Welcome screen guides users through the initial setup process, including language selection, network connection, and channel scanning. This process can be skipped and performed later via the settings menu.

Channel Management: Channels can be installed automatically via the Settings menu. Users can select their country/region, tuner mode (Cable, Antenna, or Satellite), and then initiate an automatic search. The TV arranges channels in a preset order, which can be edited later through the Channel organizer.

Connected Devices: The TV supports various external devices such as Blu-ray Disc players, HD game consoles, HD camcorders, and CI modules. HDMI ports are available for high-quality connections, and USB ports are provided for data input from USB drives and other relevant USB devices. It is recommended to use high-quality, shielded HDMI cables to avoid interference. The ARC (Audio Return Channel) function is supported on specific HDMI ports and requires CEC function to be enabled.

Smart TV and Internet: The Smart TV homepage provides access to Internet Applications (Apps) and specially adapted Internet websites. Network settings must be configured before using Smart TV applications. The TV can be connected to the internet via a wired LAN port or wirelessly using a modem and wireless router.

Subtitles and Teletext: Subtitles can be enabled for each TV channel, with options to select preferred subtitle languages for digital broadcasts. Hearing impaired subtitles are also available. Teletext can be toggled on or off, and users can select a decoding page language and a digital Teletext language for multiple initial Teletext pages.

Consumer Electronic Control (CEC): This function allows searching for CEC devices connected to HDMI sockets and enables one-touch play and one-touch standby between CEC devices. The HDMI control option can be toggled on or off in the settings.

HbbTV (Hybrid broadcast broadband TV): HbbTV offers interactive television services over broadband Internet, including digital teletext, electronic program guides, games, and interactive advertising. To use HbbTV, the TV must be connected to the Internet, and the HbbTV option must be switched on in the settings.

EPG (Electronic Programme Guide): The EPG displays scheduled digital TV programs, allowing users to navigate, select, and view program information. It includes options to watch programs, filter by genre, set custom schedules, and view a schedule list.

Bluetooth Function: The TV supports Bluetooth® technology for connecting audio devices, mice, or keyboards. Users can add accessories through the Remotes and accessories menu. It's important to note that 2.4GHz frequency use may cause interference with Wi-Fi access points or microwave ovens, potentially affecting audio streaming.

Networked Waking Up: This feature allows turning on the TV from standby mode via a network, provided the TV is connected to an effective wireless home network, a controller (e.g., smartphone) is on the same network, and an app supporting this function (like YouTube) is installed on the controller. Networked standby must be enabled in the settings.

Factory Reset: The TV can be reset to factory default settings through the System > About > Reset menu, requiring a password (default 1234 or user-defined) to confirm.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning: The TV screen should be cleaned with a glass-cleaning product and a soft cloth. The rest of the set can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Strong detergents, alcohol-based, and abrasive products should be avoided as they can damage the screen and the TV set.

Ventilation: Dust should be regularly cleaned from the vents at the back and sides of the TV to ensure adequate ventilation.

Battery Care: Batteries in the remote control should not be exposed to excessive heat. They should be removed if the remote control will not be used for a long time to prevent damage from deterioration and corrosive leakage. Used batteries should be disposed of according to local recycling facilities.

Troubleshooting: The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as no picture or sound, unclear picture, dark/light/tinted picture, and non-functional remote control. It advises checking power connections, source type, antenna connection, volume, and remote control batteries. For persistent issues, users are directed to refer to the warranty card for service information.
