Important information
Safety
Ensure that your domestic mains supply voltage
matches the voltage indicated on the identication
sticker located at the back of your set. Where the
mains plug, AC inlet or an appliance coupler is used
as disconnect device, it shall remain readily operable.
On certain models, the light indicator is located at the
side of the TV set. The absence of a light indication
at the front does not mean that the TV set is fully
disconnected from the mains. To disconnect the TV
set completely, the mains plug must be pulled out.
The TV set’s components are sensitive to heat. The
maximum ambient temperature should not exceed
35º Celsius. Do not cover the vents at the back or
sides of the TV set. Leave su󰀩cient space around it to
allow adequate ventilation. Install the appliance away
from any source of heat (replace, etc.) or appliances
creating strong magnetic or electric elds.
Moisture in rooms where the set is installed should
not exceed 75% humidity. Moving the set from a cold
place to a warm one can cause condensation on the
screen (and on some components inside the TV set).
Let the condensation evaporate before switching the
TV set on again.
The
or POWER/ button on the TV set or the
button on the remote control can be used to switch it
on and put it into standby mode. If you are not going
to be watching the TV for a lengthy period of time,
switch it o󰀨 completely by removing the plug from the
mains power socket.
During thunderstorms, we recommend that you
disconnect the TV set from the mains and aerial so
that it is not a󰀨ected by electrical or electromagnetic
surges that could damage it. For this reason, keep the
mains and aerial sockets accessible so they can be
disconnected, if necessary.
Unplug the TV set immediately if you notice it giving
o󰀨 a smell of burning or smoke. You must never,
under any circumstances, open the TV set yourself,
as you run the risk of an electric shock in doing so.
WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic household
use only and should not be used for any other
application, such as for non-domestic use or in a
commercial environment.

television to allow adequate ventilation. The
ventilation should not be impeded by covering the
ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers,
table-cloths, curtains, etc.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or
splashing and no objects lled with liquids, such as
vases shall be placed on the apparatus.
Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not
be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re
or the like.
To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not
expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
A television set may fall, causing serious personal
injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to children,
can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:
ALWAYS use cabinets or stands or mounting
methods recommended by the manufacturer of the
television set.
ALWAYS use furniture that can safely support the
television set.
ALWAYS ensure the television set is not
overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
ALWAYS educate children about the dangers of
climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its
controls.
ALWAYS route cords and cables connected to your
television so they cannot be tripped over, pulled or
grabbed.
NEVER place a television set in an unstable
location.
NEVER place the television set on tall furniture
(for example, cupboards or bookcases) without
anchoring both the furniture and the television set to
a suitable support.
NEVER place the television set on cloth or other
materials that may be located between the television
set and supporting furniture.
NEVER place items that might tempt children to
climb, such as toys and remote controls, on the top
of the television or furniture on which the television
is placed.
If the existing television set is going to be retained
and relocated, the same considerations as above
should be applied.

It allows users to watch digital and analogue TV channels, access internet applications (Apps), and connect to various external devices such as Blu-ray Disc players, HD game consoles, HD camcorders, and headphones. The TV supports both wired and wireless internet connections, enabling access to Smart TV features, streaming services, and interactive content like HbbTV.

The device incorporates advanced display technology, providing finely detailed pictures. It also features a common interface for decoding encrypted digital TV channels, allowing access to pay TV services. The TV is equipped with Consumer Electronic Control (CEC) for seamless interaction with other HDMI-connected devices, enabling functions like one-touch play and auto standby.

For enhanced user experience, the TV offers a hands-free voice control feature, allowing users to operate the device using voice commands. It also supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for smoother gaming experiences and Apple AirPlay and HomeKit for wireless content sharing and control from iOS/iPadOS/macOS devices. The Multi Visual function allows simultaneous viewing of different programs, enhancing family entertainment.

Usage Features

Initial Setup and Power Management:

Upon first use, a "Welcome" screen guides you through the initial setup process, including language selection, network connection, and channel scanning. The TV can be switched on from standby mode using the power button on the set or the remote control. To conserve energy, the TV can be put into a low-power standby mode, or completely switched off by unplugging it from the mains. Some models feature a relay switch for energy saving, which may produce a sound when turning the TV on or off.

Remote Control and Navigation:

The television comes with an exclusive remote control that provides access to most functions via on-screen menus. Navigation is primarily done using direction buttons and an OK button for selection. Dedicated buttons allow direct access to the Smart TV homepage, Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), input sources, volume control, and channel changes. App-specific buttons provide quick access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and others. A virtual remote control keyboard can be accessed for text input.

Channel Management:

Users can install and arrange channels automatically by selecting "Channel scan" in the settings menu. The TV supports various tuner modes (Cable, Antenna, Satellite) and allows for country/region selection to ensure proper channel arrangement. The channel list can be edited using the "Channel organizer" function.

Smart TV and Internet Connectivity:

The Smart TV homepage provides access to internet applications and settings. Both wired (Ethernet) and wireless (Wi-Fi) connections are supported. Network settings can be configured through the "Network and Internet" menu. It is recommended to allow a few minutes for the internet connection to stabilize before using Smart TV features.

Audio and Video Adjustments:

Volume can be adjusted using the +/- buttons on the remote. The sound can be muted temporarily using the mute button. The TV settings menu allows for adjustments to picture and sound quality, including colour, brightness, and sharpness.

Subtitle and Teletext Functions:

Subtitles can be enabled or disabled for each TV channel. For digital broadcasts, preferred subtitle languages can be selected. The TV also supports Teletext, allowing users to access information pages and select decoding page languages.

Advanced Connectivity and Features:

  • Common Interface: For encrypted digital TV channels, a common interface module can be inserted to decode services from a digital TV service operator.
  • Consumer Electronic Control (CEC): This feature enables seamless control between the TV and HDMI-connected devices. Functions like "Auto power on" (TV turns on with a CEC device) and "Auto standby" (CEC devices go to standby when TV is off) can be enabled.
  • HbbTV: Hybrid broadcast broadband TV offers interactive television services over broadband internet, providing digital teletext, EPG, games, and other interactive content on supported digital TV channels.
  • Bluetooth Function: Allows connection of Bluetooth audio devices, mice, or keyboards to the TV.
  • Quick Start Function: Enables faster TV startup from standby mode, though it increases standby power consumption.
  • Networked Waking Up: Allows the TV to be turned on from standby via a network using a compatible app on a smartphone.
  • Hands-Free TV Voice Control: For selected models, the built-in MIC allows voice commands to control the TV, especially when connected to Google Assistant.
  • Variable Refresh Rate (VRR): Provides smoother gaming by dynamically changing the refresh rate up to 144Hz on compatible HDMI inputs.
  • Apple AirPlay and HomeKit: Facilitates wireless content sharing and control of the TV from Apple devices.
  • Multi Visual: Enables viewing of different programs simultaneously on the TV, compatible with Android OS phones.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning:

The TV screen should be cleaned with a glass-cleaning product and a soft cloth. The rest of the set can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using strong, alcohol-based, or abrasive products, as they can damage the screen and other parts of the TV.

Ventilation:

Ensure adequate ventilation by leaving more than 10cm clearance around the television. Do not cover the ventilation openings with items like newspapers, table-cloths, or curtains, as the TV's components are sensitive to heat. The maximum ambient temperature should not exceed 35° Celsius.

Environmental Conditions:

The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing liquids, and no objects filled with liquids (e.g., vases) should be placed on it. Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat. The TV should be installed away from heat sources and strong magnetic or electric fields. Humidity in the room should not exceed 75%. If moving the TV from a cold to a warm place, allow condensation to evaporate before switching it on.

Battery Care:

Remove batteries from the remote control if it will not be used for a long time to prevent damage from deterioration or corrosive leakage. Dispose of used batteries according to local recycling facilities.

Troubleshooting and Safety:

If you notice a burning smell or smoke, immediately unplug the TV. Never open the appliance yourself due to the risk of electric shock. During thunderstorms, disconnect the TV from the mains and aerial to protect it from electrical surges. Keep mains and aerial sockets accessible for disconnection.

ESD Regulation:

The apparatus meets ESD performance criteria. In case of issues in Ethernet or USB playing modes due to electrostatic discharge, user intervention may be required.

Software Updates:

While some devices are updated quarterly, updates are not always specific. Devices older than three years typically only receive updates if a critical vulnerability is found and fixed.
