RELATIONSHIP
BETWEEN
LOAD
AND
STABILITY
OF
TRUCK
The
lift
truck
keeps
a
balance
of
weight
between
the
truck
and
the
load
on
the
forks
with
the
center
of
the
front
wheels
as
a
fulcrum
when
the
rated
capacity
load
is
placed
in
position.
Due
care
should
be
paid
to
the
weight
and
the
load’s
center
of
gravity
to
maintain
stability.
If
the
rated
capacity
is
exceeded,
there
is
a
danger
of
the
rear
wheels
being
raised
and
in
the
worst
case,
the
truck
will
turn
over,
resulting
in
a
fatal
accident.
The
load
placed
near
the
fork
tips
practically
has
the
same
effect
that
the
weight
of
the
load
is
increased.
In
this
case,
the
load
weight
must
be
reduced
accordingly.
