CAUTION
Charge
the
battery
in
a
well
ventilated
place,
free
from
rain
drops,
away
from
naked
flames
or
fire.
After
the
day’s
work,
or
each
shift
or
whenever
the
LCD
meter
unit
shows
the
low
battery
voltage
alarm
or
the
battery
charge
indicator
drops
to
the
level
3
or
less,
charge
the
battery
in
the
following
manner.
If
the
battery
has
not
discharged
so
much,
the
microprocessor
will
control
the
charging
process
properly.
The
length
of
time
required
for
charging
varies
with
the
battery
capacity
and
the
amount
of
discharge.
As
a
rough
standard,
when
the
battery
has
discharged
75
to
100%,
it
will
take
8
to
13
hours
to
charge
the
battery
completely.

NOTE
Note
that
the
charge
monitor
does
not
necessarily
show
the
accurate
battery
capacity
and
thus
might
not
agree
with
the
display
level
on
the
LCD
meter
unit.
HANDLING
THE
BATTERY
A
WARNING
While
charging
is
in
progress
or
when
the
charging
cables
are
connected,
do
not
try
to
touch
any
of
the
internal
electrical
parts.
If
you
need
to
do
so,
make
sure
to
stop
the
charger,
remove
the
charger
cables
and
disconnect
the
battery
receptacles.
A
CAUTION
Make
sure
the
plugs
are
securely
inserted
into
their
respective
receptacles.
POWER
SUPPLY
PLUG
TRUCK-SIDE
PLUG
1)
Turn
off
the
key
switch
of
the
truck.
2)
Make
sure
the
line
switch
of
the
power
supply
is
OFF.
3)
Insert
the
truck-side
plug
of
the
charger
cable
into
the
truck-
side
receptacle.
4)
Insert
the
power
supply
plug
of
the
charger
cable
into
the
power
supply
receptacle.
5)
Turn
on
the
power
supply
switch.
