that
the
deck
performs
the
following
operations,
depending

the
position

the
AUTO
REVERSE
selector,
when
the
joint
between
leader
tape
and
magnetic
tape
passes
the
FWD
erase
head
(below
the
sensor)
more
than
15
seconds
after
the
tape
was
started
(in
either
direction):

forward
play,
the
tape
should
be
played
between
A
and
C
and
then
stop.
In
reverse
direction,
the
tape
should
be
played
between
C(D)
and
B
and
then
stop.

from

to

where
direction

reversed.
Playback
should
then
continue
up
to
B
and
stop.

tape

played

reverse

directions.

the
junction
between
leader
and
magnetic
tape
passes
the
FWD
erase
head
within

the
tape
should
not

stopped
nor
direction
reversed.
Instead,
playback
should
continue
to
the
end
of
the
tape,
where
it
should
either
stop
or
reverse
direction.

clockwise
(viewed
from
above).
Insert
a
MTT-501
test
tape
and
play
the
magnetic
tape
portion,
adjusting
R80(semi-fixed,
10
kohms
(B))
so
that
a
voltage
of
3
V
is
obtained
at
the
No.1
terminal
of
U807.
If
adjustment
by
R80
alone
proves
impossible,
use
R81
to
obtain
3
V.
