What to do if the bed chain on my Teagle Farm Equipment operates slowly?
    • J
      Joshua ScottAug 18, 2025
If the bed chain on your Teagle Farm Equipment no longer operates or operates very slowly at tractor engine PTO speed, it could be due to contamination in the Bypass Valve or Pressure Relief Valve within the flow control slice. This contamination prevents the valve from closing, causing oil to dump to the tank and starve the motor. To resolve this, remove either the Bypass Valve or the Pressure Relief Valve from the Flow Control Slice, inspect them for contamination, clean thoroughly, and then replace them. Another possible cause is failure of the hydraulic motor, which can be addressed by the same cleaning procedure.

How to fix bed chain speed control on Teagle Farm Equipment?
    • S
      Stephen VegaAug 25, 2025
If the bed chain speed control stops working on your Teagle Farm Equipment, it's likely due to the flow control spool being jammed open by contamination. To fix this, remove the valve guard from the front of the machine. Slip the rubber shield from around the flow control cam mechanism up. Undo the 3 grub screws retaining the aluminium adapter body to the top of the valve. Unscrew the flow control spool from the valve body. Remove any contamination and reassemble, ensuring the adapter body is fully seated before securing it with the grub screws.

Why is my Teagle Farm Equipment losing operation of services?
    • P
      phernandezAug 30, 2025
If you experience a loss of operation of any service, or if the bed chain operates in only one direction on your Teagle Farm Equipment, it may be due to a failed or dislodged series plug (adjacent to item 10 Section 3.2). This causes oil to flow back to the tank, stopping the operation of other slices. To resolve this, replace the blanking plug and the valve body if it's damaged.

How to fix an oil leak from the valve slice cap on Teagle Farm Equipment?
    • J
      John CarrSep 5, 2025
If oil is leaking from the cap at the bottom of a valve slice on your Teagle Farm Equipment, it's likely due to incorrectly fitted or failed seals. To fix this, replace the seals. First, remove the cable form the valve slice causing the problem. Then, unscrew the cap from the bottom of the valve, being careful not to lose any springs and detent balls. Remove the spool. Fit the new slip ring to the spool, sliding it down to the bottom and fitting the O ring outside the slip ring. Re-insert the spool back into the valve body, ensuring the O ring remains outside the slip ring. Finally, reassemble the cable back onto the spool and refit the cap at the bottom of the valve.

Why is oil leaking from the valve slices on my Teagle Farm Equipment?

If oil leaks from between the interface seals between the slices of the valve on your Teagle Farm Equipment, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the oil flow from the tractor is directed to the valve's inlet port. Installing a check valve on the outlet port can prevent reverse flow if incorrect connections are frequent. Also, verify that the return hose is correctly connected to the tractor. Damaged quick release fittings on the return hose can restrict oil flow. If your tractor's spool valve lacks a free flow return, creating back pressure, install a free flow return connection. Excessive oil flow can also cause issues; reduce the flow to a maximum of 60 liters. Finally, check the torque of the studs holding the valve block together, ensuring they are tightened to 13 Nm (10 ...
