This document provides installation and operating instructions for the TecFlame Electric Fireplace insert, model TT-FRPL - EF01 – 28. It emphasizes the importance of reading all instructions and warnings carefully before installation to prevent electric shock, fire hazards, and to maintain warranty validity.

Function Description:

The TecFlame Electric Fireplace insert is designed to provide a comforting flame effect, which can be used independently or with the heater function. The flame effect requires a minimal amount of electricity. The unit is intended for indoor use and is not suitable for bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar locations where it might come into contact with water. It features an electric heater that can be controlled to adjust temperature and brightness levels. The fireplace is fitted with LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs for the flame effect, which offer similar light levels to conventional bulbs but consume less energy and are maintenance-free.

Usage Features:

Controls: All controls and switches are located on the front panel of the heater, inside the right-hand door. A remote control is also provided for convenience.
Flame Effect: The flame effect can be used with or without the heater, allowing for year-round enjoyment. It features 5 brightness levels: Full bright, High bright, Medium, Low bright, and Tiny bright. The flame comes from an LED light board.
Log Light: The log light also comes from an LED light and works in conjunction with the flame, offering 5 brightness levels.
Down Light: Composed of 2 LED light boards, the down light can be switched ON or OFF.
Heater Function: The heater offers seven temperature level settings: 60°C (99°F), 30°C (86°F), 28°C (82°F), 26°C (78°F), 24°C (75°F), 22°C (71°F), and OFF. Holding the Heater button for 10 seconds allows conversion between °C and °F.
Memory Function: The memory switch (when main power is ON) stores the current settings when the unit is turned off and recovers them when pressed again. If the memory is switched OFF, it cancels the Timing Shut Down setting, and the brightness level reverts to "5".
Timer Function: An off-time can be set with a range from 10 to 90 minutes, or 1 to 9 hours (10→20→30→40→50→1H→2H→3H→4H→5H→6H→7H→8H→9H cycle).
Dynamic Effect: An 'Effect' button allows entry into a dynamic effect in automatic mode.
Safety Precautions:

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: Always unplug the power cord before cleaning. Use a soft, clean duster for general cleaning. The glass viewing screen should be cleaned carefully with a soft cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners or proprietary glass cleaners.
Dust Removal: Use the soft brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner to clean the outlet grille of the fan heater occasionally.
Fuel Effect Cleaning: To clean the fuel effect, remove 6 screws (Fig.1), remove the front glass panel (Fig.2), unscrew the rosebud log screw (Fig.3), and wipe the log set clean with a damp cloth.
Repairs: Any repairs should be carried out by qualified/authorized service personnel only. Do not modify the appliance. Replace parts with original "OEM" parts only.
Glass Panel: The product uses tempered glass. Do not operate with a broken or chipped glass panel. Do not strike or slam the glass. Replacement of the glass should only be performed by authorized service personnel.
LED Bulbs: The LED bulbs are maintenance-free and do not require replacement during the product's life.

Warranty Information:

The product comes with a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This includes electrical components and circuit boards (excluding light bulbs). The warranty is void if the product is used in commercial or industrial applications. It does not cover accidents, unauthorized repairs or alterations, normal maintenance, changes made to other units, incidental damages, or improper installation. All warranty repairs must be preauthorized by a repair facility, and defective parts may need to be held for 60 days for inspection. Only parts and accessories available through Customer Service should be used for warranty service. Purchasers are responsible for notifying their Distributor promptly, and repairs should be completed within 30 days of authorization. The manufacturer makes no warranty against mineraling of wood components due to the properties of natural wood.
