The
sleep
timer
is
an
excellent
little
feature
that
lets
you
fall
asleep
with
the
radio.
You
can
set
the
timer
to
turn
off
after
30,
60
or
90
minutes.
The
sleep
timer
tums
off
the
receiver,
but
it
does
not
turn
off
any
externally
connected
components.

set
how
long
(minutes)
you
want
the
source
to
continue

not
press

again
before
the
remaining
time
indication
goes
out.
if
you
do
so,
the
timer
will
return
to
the
setting
mode.
To
change
the
setting
time
(while
the
timer
is
run-
ning)

Press
SLEEP.
2.
Press
SLEEP
again
while
the
remaining
time
is
displayed
and
then
reset
the
timer
(30,
60
or
90
minutes).
if
you
make
a
mistake
in
operation
or
if
sound
output
stops
due
to
some
operation
which
was
performed,
the
HELP
function
displays
information
which
can
be
useful
for
indicating
the
method
by
which
this
condition
can
be
remedied.
If
ERROR’
or
scrolling
characters
(for
instance,
“TAPE
MONITOR
ON
NOW")
appears
on
the
display
during
operation,
carry
out
the
following
operation.
HELP
Press
HELP
on
the
remote
control
transmitter,
The
method
for
remedying
this
situation
will
be
displayed.
