This mode makes it seem like there are multiple surround speakers in
your room, increasing the cinama-like atmosphere.
® Seat position (= page 13)
This mode helps maintain the sound position even if the listening po-
sition itself is changed.
When used with virtual rear surround, seat position is changed in
3 steps.

Play a DVD encoded with Dolby Digital.
EX “OODIGITAL” appears on the tuner/ampiifier,
To down-mix Dolby Digital (5.1ch) signals to 2 channels
Press (SHIFT]+(MIX 2CH].
To cancel
Press [SHIFT]+[MIX 2CH] again.
DOLBY PRO LOGIC
Refer to illustration BJ on page 24 of the illustrated booklet.
1 Press [00 PRO LOGIC, OFF/ON].
The indicator turns green.
2 Playback a Dolby Surround source.
To cancel
Press (00 PRO LOGIC, OFF/ON] so the indicator turns off.
Turn Dolby Pro Logic off when playing a DVD recorded with 5.1-channel
Dolby Digital. The surround affects will not be reproduced correctly if this is
left on.
PER SURROUN
Refer to Illustration [J on page 24 of the Illustrated booklet.
Press [SUPER SURROUND] and select “MOVIE” or
“MUSIC”.
The indicator turns green.
The display on the tuner/amplifier changes each time you press the button:
MUSIC->MOVIE-+STEREO SOUND* (off)

channel Dolby Digital. The surround effects will not be reproduced correctly

To cancel
Press [SUPER SURROUND] to select “STEREO SOUND”. The indicator
goes out.
