Speaker level adjustments
Refer to illustration EJ on page 25 of the illustrated booklet.
Remote control only
DOLBY DIGITAL, DOLBY PRO LOGIC
If
the
level
of
the
speakers
appears
to
be
different
while
listening
to
a
source,
adjust
the
levels
of
the
speakers
to
the
same
apparent
level.
Preparation:
Set
the
volume
level
of
the
front
speakers
normally
used
for
enjoying the source.
@ Press [SHIFT]+[TEST] to output a test signal.
A test signal is output from each speaker in order.
To stop the test signal, press [SHIFT]+[TEST] again.
Leh: Front left speaker
Cch: Center speaker
Reh Front right speaker
RSch: Right surround speaker
LSch: — Left surround speaker
(No signal is output for the subwoofer.)
@The
surround
channel
for
Dolby
Pro
Logic
is
monaural
so
the
indicator
appears
as “Sch”
instead.
@® White the speaker to be adjusted is outputting a signal
Press [A] (to increase the level) or [¥] (to decrease the level).
The level of the speaker changes.
Repeat step @) as desired.
To adjust the levels during play
@ Press (CH SELECT] to select the speaker.

@ Press [AJ or [¥] to adjust the level.
SUPER SURROUND
While playing a source
1. Press [CH SELECT].
2. Press [A] (to increase level) or [¥] (to decrease level).
Refer to illustrations EJ-I on page 25 of the illustrated booklet.
These
effects
can
be
used
with
the
surround
systems
described
on
pages
16
and
17.
These
effects
are
available
when
the
corresponding
indicators
are
alight.
B SEAT POSITION
1 Press [SEAT POSITION].
The indicator flashes green
2 While the indicator is flashing (within 10 seconds)
Adjust the seat position with [<4, >, A, ¥].
The indicator flashes for 10 seconds then lights green.
To cancel
1. Press [SEAT POSITION] so the indicator flashes.
2.
Press
[SEAT
POSITION]
again
while
the
indicator
is
flashing
so
it
turns
orange.
Press [CENTER FOCUS].
The indicator turns green.
DIALOGUE
ENHANCER
is
canceled
when
you
turn
this
on
(#
page
10).
To cancel
Press [CENTER FOCUS] so the indicator turns orange.
D.. VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND
Press [VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND].
The indicator turns green.
To cancel
Press [VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND] so the indicator turns orange.
E MULTI REAR SURROUND
Press [MULTI REAR SURROUND].
Tha indicator turns green.
To cancel
Press [MULTI REAR SURROUND] so the indicator turns orange.
On the remote control
@ Press [SHIFT}]+[AV EFFECT].
® Press [+4] or [>] so the surround effect indicators flash in
order.
® Press [A] (ON).
@ (lf you select SEAT POSITION)
Adjust the seat position with {<4, >, A, ¥].
To
turn
it
off,
after
steps
(
and
@
press
[¥]
so
the
indicator
turns
orange.
The seat position is remembered by the unit and is reactivated
when you turn seat position on again.
