This
unit
lets
you
take
advantage
of
the
Radio
Data
System
(RDS)
in
areas
where
RDS
broadcast
services
are
received.
This
advanced
system
provides
useful
information,
utilizing
a
57
kHz
subcarrier
above
the
audible
range,
in
addition
to
the
main
FM
signal.

station
you
are
listening
to
is
transmitting
RDS
signals,
“RDS”
will
light
up
on
the
display.
The
name
of
the
station
is
displayed
when
PS
signals
are
received.

the
