Press [DISPLAY].
Different information appears on the display each time the button is
pressed. The information shown depends on the condition of the
unit.

During play
@ Track number and elapsed time for that track
@ Track number and remaining time
@® Name of track
While recording
@ Track number and elapsed time for that track
@ Remaining time on MD
@® Name of track
While stopped
@ Total number of tracks and total play time of the disc

Scrolling the display

When the title of a disc or the names of tracks are too long to fit on
the display at one time, the unit automatically scrolls that informa-
tion across the screen once when the information is accessed.
This operation allows you to see the information in full again.
Press [SCROLL].
The information scrolls from right to left across the display.
Input from units connected to this unit’s input terminals can be sent
to units connected to this unit’s output terminals.
The signal is output through the ANALOG PLAY (OUT) terminals.
This unit converts digital and analog signals automatically so you
can, for example, send digital input directly to an analog amplifier.
@ Press [4 EJECT] if an MD is in the unit. (This function will not
work if an MD is in the unit.)
@ Press [@ REC]. (“Monitor’ appears on the display.)
® Select the source with [INPUT SELECTOR].
@ Begin play on the selected source and the sound is output auto-
matically.
Press [ml] to cancel.
