Dividing
tracks

DIVIDE
(Remote
control
only)
This
function
allows
you
to
manually
add
track
marks.
This
means
you
can
edit
a
radio
program
you
recorded,
or
divide
a
symphony
into
its
separate
movements.
Make
sure
the
disc
is
record
enabled.
While
the
track
you
want
to
divide
is
playing

Press
[EDIT]
to
select
“DIVIDE?”.
Each
time
the
button
is
pressed:
TRACK
TITLE?
DIVIDE?
MOVE?
COMBINE?
TRACK
ERASE?

Press
[ENTER].
Press
and
hold
[
<<
]
or
[>>
]
to
adjust
the
point
to
put
the
track
mark.
You
can
also
select
a
different
track
at
this
point
by
pressing
[44]
or
[PP
].

At
the
point
you
want
to
add
the
track
mark:
Press
[SET].
A
four
second
segment
of
the
track,
beginning
at
the
selected
point,
is
played
repeatedly
(8
seconds
if
the
track
was
record-
ed
in
MONO
mode).

or
[>>]
to
adjust
the
point.
ENTER
:
Adjustment
can
be
made
between
—128
and
+127,
approxi-

8
seconds
either
side
of
the
original
point
(16
seconds
if
the
track
was
recorded
in
MONO
mode).
