gaps

extremely
short

contains
music
and/or
when
an
eccentric
disc
is
used,
this
adjustment
will
not
correct
the
problem
and
the
disc
should
be
played
manually.
Replacement
1.
Set
the
sensitivity
selector
to
the
“H”
position
2.
Remove
the
cap,
then
rotate
the
stylus
set-down
position
adjustment
knob
as
described
below:
If
the
first
few
seconds
of
the
specified
tune
are
not
audible
or
the
beginning
of
the
tune
after
the
specified
tune
is
played,
rotate
towards
the
“out”
direction
(to
the
right).

If
no
sound
is
heard
for
a
long
time
after
the
stylus
contacts
the
disc
(more
than
20
seconds)
or
the
tonearm
lifts
before
the
end
of
the
tune,
rotate

left).

return
the
sensitivity
selector
to
“M”
position
after
completing
the
above
adjustment.
If
noise
is
heard
from
new
discs,
the
stylus
is
probably
worn.
Replace
it
with
a
new
one.
(Refer
to
the
operating
instructions
of
the
cartridge.)
The
plug-in
type
of
cartridge
is
already
designed
to
match
this
unit
in
every
respect:
weight,
correct
stylus
pressure,
stylus
tip
position,
center
of
gravity,
etc.
This
means
that
there’s
no
longer
any
need
for
troublesome
connection
of
lead
wires
or
adjustment
of
the
stylus
pressure.
