Search Function
This function allows vou to jump to the beginning of tracks.

Press either l-44/44 or
e/i.
>» />»: To skip forward
Y You can skip as many tracks as the num-
ber of times you press the button.
l44/44: To skip backward
You can skip to the beginning of the track
being played. If you press the button
again quickly, you can skip to the begin-
ning of the previous track.
For your reference:
eDuring random play (see page 9):
If e/m» is pressed, skipping is performed in random order.
lf l-44/44 is pressed, disc play skips to the beginning of the track
being played, but skipping to previous tracks is not possible.
eDuring program play (see page 10):
Forward and backward skipping is performed in the programmed
track order.
This function allows you to search for a desired location while viewing
the time display.
While the disc is being played or
Press and hold either l-44/44
® or D/P Pt.
Release the button when you
have reached the desired
point.
mr /ib-bi: To search forward
l-44/44: To search backward
Searching proceeds slowly at first and
then speeds up if the button is held down.

eDuring random play (see page 9) and program play (see
page 10):
Searching can be performed only within the track being played.
During A-B repeat (see page 12):
Searching can be performed bevond the A-B segment. (A-B repeat
will not be cancelled.)
