■ Battery installation
•Do not use rechargeable batteries (Ni-Cd
type)-
•Be sure the batteries are inserted so that
the positive (+) and negative (-) polant-
ies are correct. Batteries installed with in¬
correct polarities may leak and damage
the remote control transmitter.
•Never subject the batteries to excessive
heat or flame; do not attempt to disas¬
semble them; and be sure they are not
short-circuited.
•If the remote control transmitter is not to
be used for a long time, remove the bat¬
teries and store them in a cool dark place.
•Remove old, weak or worn-out batteries
promptly and dispose of them.
•Never mix old and new batteries, nor bat¬
teries of different types (carbon or alka¬
line).
Operation notes
Aim the remote control transmission win¬
dow toward the unit’s sensor. Avoid any
obstacles.

Use the remote control within a 60 degree
angle and within 6 meters (20 ft.) from the
unit.
This unit
Be sure the transmission window and the
unit’s sensor are free from dust. Excessive
dust might prevent reception.
The operation may not be correct if direct
sunlight or other strong light sources strike
the remote control signal sensor part of this
unit. If there is a problem, place the unit
away from the light source.
