Remove the cabinet.
Remove the 6 setscrews (Fig. 2: @ ~ @) of the rear
panel. | i
Remove the 5 setscrews (Fig. 3: @ ~ @) of the main
circuit P. C. B. and cut off the power transformer lead
clamper by use of nippers. _ oe
Slightly shift the rear panel backward. Next, push the
main circuit P. C. B. toward the power transformer and
raise the main P. C. B. in the direction of the arrow (Fig.
4: @). |

Remove the cabinet and main circuit P. C. B.
Remove the direct connector (cassette deck side) in the
direction of the arrow (Fig.5: @).
Push the direct connector (tuner side) down out of the
frame as shown in Fig. 5.
To set it up, follow the procedure reversely.

Note) When repairing the main P. C. B.,
connect the earth wire to the
chassis with clip lead wire.
