Transpose
Suppose you learn to play a song—in the key of C, for example—and decide you want to sing it, only
to find it’s either too high or too low for your voice. Your choice is to either learn the song all over again,
in a different key, or to use the TRANSPOSE feature.
Use the TRANSPOSE buttons to adjust the key. e |f the two buttons are pressed at the same
time, the key returns to C.
o If either of the TRANSPOSE indicators
remains lit, it indicates that the piano is set to
[| [i a key other than C.
TRANSPOSE
o |f either of the buttons is pressed once, the
current setting value will appear on the dis-
play, and it can then be changed.
e When setting the key, the current key is shown
on the display.

Tuning
The pitch of the instrument can be adjusted. This capability is useful, for example, for ensemble playing.
