the
international
standard
for
digital
communication
of
electronic
musical
instrument
data.
This
means
that
any
equipment
which
has
a
MIDI
terminal—such
as
electronic
musical
instruments
and
personal
computers—can
easily
exchange
digital
data
with
other
MIDI
equipment
without
resorting
to
complicated
conversions
or
connections.

You
can
assign
a
MIDI
CHANNEL
number
(1—16)
to
this
instrument.

can
be
exchanged
only
when
the
channel
on
the
transmitting
side
matches
the
channel
on
the
receiving
side.

The
default
channel
setting
is
1.
While
pressing
the
MODE
SET
button,
use
the
16
lower-
most
keys
(see
illustration)
to
assign
the
desired
MIDI
CHANNEL
number.
The
selected
MIDI
CHANNEL
number
is
shown
on
the
display.
