DOCKING AN iPod PLAYING FROM AN iPod
DOCKING YOUR iPod
To dock your iPod:
Set the unit to Standby•
Check that the correct iPod adaptor is tted to the docking •
bay.
Locate the iPod on the Docking Connector and press it •
gently home.
Switch the unit on.•
To remove your iPod from the dock:
Grip the iPod at the sides.•
Lift the iPod gently from the dock.•
Once an iPod is docked, you can play music from the iPod
through your system.
Playing from a docked iPod:
Press the • FUNCTION button to select iPod mode.
The display will read ‘IPOD’.
You can now operate your iPod functions from the control
panel or the remote control.
iPod playback functions:
Press the • //, button to toggle between Play and Pause
mode at any time.
Press the • } or { button to select the next or previous
track on your iPod.
Press the • STOP/MENU button (or the . button on the
remote control) to stop the iPod playing.
You can also set Repeat or Shue modes on the iPod from
the remote control.
To select repeat modes:
Press the • REPEAT button repeatedly to cycle through the
repeat mode options available.
The repeat mode set will show on the iPod display.
To set shue mode:
Press the • RANDOM button repeatedly to switch shue
mode on or o.
The shue mode symbol will show on the iPod display when
set.
CHARGING AN iPod
When an iPod is docked, and the unit is switched on the iPod
will begin to charge automatically.
When an iPod is docked and playing you can also navigate
the menus from the control buttons on the front panel and
remote control.
To navigate the iPod menus:
Whilst playing an iPod, press the • iPod/MEM/C-ADJ
button.
The display indication will change between ‘IPOD’ and
‘IPODMENU’. When the display reads ‘IPOD’ , the buttons will
control iPod playback functions as described above. When the
display reads ‘IPODMENU’ the buttons will control the following
navigation commands -
To move up through the iPod menu, press the • STOP/
MENU button (or the . button on the remote control).
To scroll up and down options displayed on the iPod •
menu, press the } or { button.
To select menu items, press the • //, button.
