Closing the menu: Press the INFO / MENU buon repeatedly (depending on
which submenu you are in), until the current radio channel is displayed again.
Seings are not saved until the TUNING / SELECT knob has been pressed. If
the INFO / MENU buon is pressed instead, seings are not accepted or saved
(the INFO / MENU buon in this case acts as a “Back” buon and you exit the
menu).
The functions and buons to be pressed are shown in bold in this instruction
manual. Displays in [square brackets].
Some text (e.g. menu items, station information) may be too long to show on
the display. These will then be shown as running text shortly thereaer.
Information for operating the device:
The TUNING / SELECT knob can be both turned and pressed.
Press the TUNING / SELECT knob: Confirm / ENTER.
Turn the TUNING / SELECT knob: P+/- or / .
6 DAB+ (digital radio) function
6.1 What is DAB+?
DAB+ is a digital format through which crystal clear sound can be enjoyed, with
no noise. In contrast to conventional analogue radio stations, DAB+ can be used to
broadcast multiple stations on the same frequency. You can find further information,
for example, at www.dabplus.de or www.dabplus.ch.
6.2 DAB+ (digital radio) reception
> Press the MODE buon until [Digital Radio] appears on the display.
If DAB+ is being started for the first time, a complete station scan is
performed. Aer the scan is complete, the first station is played back in
alphanumeric order.
6.2.1 Performing a full scan
The automatic scan Full scan scans all DAB+ Band III stations and thereby
finds all stations being broadcast within the reception range.
Aer the scan is complete, the first station is played back in alphanumeric
order.
> To run a full scan, open the MENU > [Scan seings] > [Full scan] and press
the TUNING / SELECT knob to confirm.
