Discharge pressure limit (absolute value without sign): if
ends with a discharge alarm if the pressure does not fall below the programmed val-
ue within the time
.
- if = 0 and = TIME, the discharge phase is not performed;
- if
= 0 , the discharge phase is completed when the time ends,
- if
= 0, = 0, = PRESSURE, the valves remain open for discharge until
the next test.
The PLC test in progress signal remains active during the discharge phase.
If the discharge phase is active and the pressure has not been discharged, it
is not possible to start a new test: the test in progress can be completed with
a RESET command or by pressing the manual Start/Stop button for 1 second.
The instrument cannot discharge pressure if it is not switched on, because the
internal discharge valves are normally closed.
Compressed air closed, pressure not discharged.
The instrument cannot discharge pressure if the compressed air supply is not
connected, because the internal discharge valves are normally closed and re-
quire a minimum pilot pressure of 3 bar to be opened.
Discharge with external valve (Option)
In the case of testing components that can release liquids (water, oil, ...) or
greases or other contaminants in large quantities, it is recommended to per-
form the discharge phase through an external valve.

grammed for "EXTERNAL DISCHARGE", the discharge phase does not use the
internal valves but only the external valve (option), installed by the user.
The external valve must ensure the seal during the test cycle.
