Losses of media can occur with the hydraulic spindle pumps, respectively, should the connected
periphery instrument leak. In this case the hydraulic pump must be topped up again with the
appropriate medium to ensure perfect operation.
13.2 Handling of Manoport-System with pneumatic hand-pump (-0,8 to 25 bar)
Specification of the pneumatic hand pump:
- Output pressure: 0 to 25 bar / 0 to 360 psi (adjustable)
- Output vacuum: 0 to –0.8 bar / 0 to –24 Hg
- Materials: Bright nickel plated brass, clear anodised aluminium,
stainless steel adapter with nylon seals
Warning: Do not connect hand pump to external pressure source! The maximum
permissable pressure is 25 bar. Higher pressure can damage the pump!
Pressure transmitter, test specimen and any used connection hoses must
not be overloaded with an inadmissible high pressure!
