This device is specifically engineered to sit atop the Cook4me bowl, leveraging its capacity to prepare a wide array of crispy and delicious dishes. Its primary function is to circulate hot air around the food, ensuring even cooking and a desirable crispy texture, often with minimal to no added oil.

Function Description

The Extra Crisp operates as a cooking lid that integrates seamlessly with your Cook4me. It features a digital touchscreen panel (B) that allows for intuitive control over cooking settings. The device offers both automatic cooking modes and manual temperature and time adjustments, providing flexibility for various recipes. The automatic modes include Roast, Grill, Air Fry, and Bake, each pre-programmed to deliver optimal results for specific food types. For manual control, users can set the temperature within a range of 70-200°C and the cooking time from 0 to 60 minutes.

To begin cooking, food is placed in the Cook4me bowl, ensuring it does not exceed the MAX level mark to maintain cooking quality. The Extra Crisp is then positioned on top of the Cook4me bowl, aligning its handles with those of the Cook4me. It's crucial that the Cook4me lid remains open during operation of the Extra Crisp, and the Cook4me itself must not be in operation simultaneously. Once properly placed and connected to a power supply, users can select their desired cooking mode or manually adjust settings via the touchscreen. The time/temperature display (C) provides real-time feedback on the cooking progress.

Many recipes, particularly those involving chips or smaller items, benefit from shaking the food halfway through the cooking time. This ensures even crisping and prevents uneven cooking. To do this, the Extra Crisp is carefully removed from the bowl, the food is stirred with wooden or plastic utensils (to protect the non-stick coating), and then the Extra Crisp is returned to resume cooking. Once the cooking cycle is complete, the appliance emits a sound, indicating that the food is ready. The Extra Crisp should then be removed and placed on a heat-resistant surface. If the food requires additional cooking, the timer can be reset for a few extra minutes.

The Extra Crisp is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for professional or outdoor applications.
