Verify sensor cable is fully connected to the 1830A and the sensor.
Verify correct compensation mode is selected.
Problem:
I am getting a voltage error on channel 2 causing the 1830A to enter Standby mode.
Solution:
Verify 1830A is connected to a sensor.
Verify sensor cable is fully connected to the 1830A and the sensor.
Verify correct compensation mode is selected. This is probably the issue. If you try
to use a TEGAM thermistor such as a M1130A in 423 Compatible Mode it will cause
the 1830A to error this way.
These are a few of the most common faults that occur with the 1830A. Please contact
TEGAM if any other issues should arise.
