Function Description
The Teison EV charger facilitates the charging of electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid vehicles (PHEVs). It supports RFID charging, allowing users to start and stop charging sessions by swiping an RFID card. The device includes an LCD screen that displays crucial information such as charging status, maximum and current charging current, voltage, power, Kwh, and charging time. An optional feature supports MID Meter values.

Usage Features
The charger is designed for user-friendly operation with clear on-screen prompts.
- Charging Preparation: After plugging in the charging cable, users follow instructions displayed on the screen.
- Starting Charge (RFID):
- Upon connecting power, the device enters a "STANDBY" state, prompting the user to connect the charging cable.
- Once the plug connection is confirmed, the device enters "CONNECTING" mode.
- Swiping an RFID card initiates "CHARGING" mode, and the screen displays real-time charging data.
- Stopping Charge: Users have three options to stop charging:
- The charger automatically detects when the car's battery is fully charged.
- Swiping the RFID card on the charger will stop the charging session.
- Cutting power to the charger will also stop the process.
- LCD Display Indicators:
- STANDBY: Blue light is constantly on.
- CONNECTED: Green light is constantly on.
- CHARGE: Green light flashes.
- END: Blue light flashes.
- FAULT: Red light flashes.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of the Teison EV charger.
- Regular Checks:
- Inspect the charging cable for any damage.
- Ensure the charger casing seals are intact and free from physical damage.
- Observe incoming lines to confirm no wires are damaged.
- Troubleshooting and Solutions: The manual provides a detailed table of conditions, display codes, indicator lights, and corresponding solutions for various malfunctions:
- Leakage Protection (0x0001): Relay disconnects, charging stops, red light flashes. Solution: Power off and on again.
- Over Voltage Protection (0x0002): Charging stops automatically, relay cuts off, red light flashes. Solution: Power off and on again.
- Less Voltage Protection (0x0004): Charging stops automatically, relay cuts off, red light flashes. Solution: Power off and on again.
- Over Current Protection (0x0008): If current is 2A higher than max, charging stops, relay cuts off, red light flashes. Solution: Power off and on again.
- Over Temperature Protection (0x0010):

85°C: Charging stops, relay disconnects, red light flashes. Resumes automatically when temperature drops below 85°C.
- 75°C-85°C: Control box lowers one gear position.
- <75°C: Gear position automatically recovers.
- NTC Brake (0x0020): Temperature sensor in open circuit, charging stops, relay cuts off. Solution: Unit must be returned to factory for repair.
- NTC Short (0x0040): Temperature sensor has a short circuit, charging stops, relay cuts off. Solution: Unit must be returned to factory for repair.
- CP Communication (0x0080): CP of charging cable is short-circuited. Solution: Stop charging, cut power, have cable inspected by a qualified electrician.
- E-stop (0x0400): Red emergency stop button pressed. Solution: Charging stops immediately. Press again to resume.
- MID (0x0100): Cannot communicate with the meter for more than 5 seconds, charging stops, relay cuts off. Solution: Charging resumes once communication is resumed.
- RFID (0x0200): Cannot communicate with RFID mode for more than 5 seconds, charging stops, relay cuts off. Solution: Charging resumes once communication is resumed.
The manual also includes a warranty card section for recording product name, model, warranty date, user name, contact phone, mail address, dealer's shop, and email address.
