The Performance Tests include functional tests, such as the interface functional
test, in this manual.
The Functional Tests verify the functions; they verify that the AFG3000
Series Arbitrary Function Generators features operate. They do not verify
that they op
erate within limits.
The Performance Tests verify that the AFG3000 Series Arbitrary Function
Generator
s performs as warranted. The Performance Tests check all the
characteristics that are designated as checked in Specifications.

Performance conditions
The tests in this section comprise an extensive, valid confirmation of performance
and functionality when the following requirements are met:
The cabinet covers must be on the AFG3000 Series.
The instrument must have been performed and passed the procedures under
calibration and diagnostics.
The instrument must have been calibrated/adjusted at an ambient temperature
between +20 °C and +30 °C.

The instrument
must be operating at an ambient temperature between +0 °C
and +50 °C.
The instrumen
t must have had a warm-up period of at least 20 minutes.
