Using Cursor Readouts
Cursor readouts supply textual and numeric information relating to the current cursor positions. The oscilloscope always shows
the reado uts when the cursors are turned on.
Readouts appear in the upper right corner of the graticule. If Z oom is on, the readout appears in the upper right corner of the
zoom window.
When a bus is selected, th e readout shows the decoded bus data in the format you have selected, hexadecimal, binary, or ASCII
(RS-232 o nly). When a digital channel is selected, the cursors show the values of all displayed digital channels.
NOTE. When buses are selected, the d ata va lue at that point is displayed in the cursor readout.
Δ Read out:
The Δ readouts indicate the difference between
the cursor positions.
a Readout:
Indicates that the value is controlled by
multipurpose knob a.
b Readout:
Indicates that the value is controlled by
multipurpose knob b.
