d. Display the test signal:

Display the Vertical Setup menu.

Use the keypad to set the Termination Voltage, Position, and Offset
vertical settings as listed in the table for the current vertical scale
setting. The baseline level may move off screen.

Set the generator so that its Sense value and polarity matches the
generator setting in the table for the vertical scale, position, offset,
and termination settings you have made. The DC test level should
appear at about 3 division on screen. Using the Vertical Position
knob, move the test level to 3 divisions above the center screen.
NOTE. It’s important to use the Sense reading of the generator instead of
the Output level when adjusting the generator to the specified voltage
setting.
