Product End-of-Life Handling
Components that Contain Mercury. The cold cathode fluorescent tube located in
the liquid crystal display backlight contains trace elements of mercury. When you
are ready to reclaim the instrument, you must properly transfer it according to
local regulations concerning mercury-containing equipment or ship the instru-
ment to the Tektronix Recycling Operations (RAMS). You can contact
Tektronix for the RAMS shipping address and instructions.
