Install in a location accessible to the user.
Using a screwdriver, remove the cover from the keypad (fig. 3).
Fix the base with at least two screws.
Make the electrical connections (fig. 1). Warning: the two wires of the
communication connections (terminals 3 and 4) must be braided toget-
her as far as the receiver.
Close the keypad.
Install in a location difficult to access and protected from water.
Make the connections as illustrated in fig. 2. Warning: the two wires of
the communication connections (terminals 5 and 6) must be braided to-
gether as far as the keypad.
IMPORTANT: take care when connecting the commu-
nication line. The wires connected to terminals A and
B of the keypad must also be connected to terminals
A and B of the receiver.
Do not power the 2 units before checking that the cor-
rect voltage has been selected (detail 3 of fig. 1 and de-
tail 6 of fig. 2)
Check that the 2 units are communicating with one
another by pressing the P2 start button in fig. 2. The
LED on the keypad should light (detail 2 of fig. 1)
and beep.
