1. GENERAL INFORMATION
This user manual describes the operation, installation and wireless conguration of the following rout-
ers:
• Router 3G/4G WFT402
• Router 3G/4G WFT402/12.
Read this user manual carefully before installation and conguration.
The manufacturer may make changes without prior notice, in accordance with its policy of con-
tinuous product development and upgrading.
1.1 Safety precautions
• Electromagnetic interference could a󰀨ect the proper functioning of the router. Place the router at a
distance from any sources of electromagnetic disturbance, such as televisions, radios, etc.
• The router may interfere with medical devices such as hearing aids and pacemakers. Before use,
consult a doctor or the medical device manufacturer.
• Stay at a distance of at least 20 centimetres from the router.
• Do not use the router in hazardous environments, such as those containing explosive gas.
• Do not place the router in humid environments. Do not immerse the router in any liquid substance.
• Do not cover the router in any way.
• Position the router in a dry, well-ventilated area.
• Do not expose the router to direct sunlight.
• Do not use the router in an outdoor environment.
1.2 Intended use
The WFT402 - WFT402/12 routers are intended for internal use and allow the connection of multiple
devices, such as computers, smartphones and smart TVs, to the Internet via a SIM CARD (not includ-
ed).
Due to the nature of the radio frequency signal to which the SIM card is connected, the reception and
transmission of data cannot be guaranteed.
Conditions may occur, such as delays, signal disturbances or weak signals, which are not caused by
the WFT402 - WFT402/12 routers.
The following reasonably foreseeable uses entail residual risks:
• Removal of protective devices on mechanical or electrical parts during operation;
• Disassembly of mechanical or electrical parts on the machine during operation;
• Operation of the router with the plastic casing open.
